Millers Landing

Best for: Families, maternity, engagements, couples and sunset portraits

Millers Landing is a road on Tallahassee’s north side that passes Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park, runs under a canopy of moss-draped live oaks and ends at Lake Jackson. It’s one location with plenty of different scenery: wooded park trails, a classic oak canopy road and the lakeshore glowing at sunset.

Good to Know

We usually start under the oaks or on the park trails, then finish at the end of the road as the sun sets over Lake Jackson. Plan for the hour before sunset.
Travel is free within 10 miles of our studio at 3110 Shamrock Street North and $2.50 per mile beyond.
